Switching to Tickify

Switching to Tickify

Moving your events costs you nothing, and you keep your full ticket price. Here's what it costs, how long it takes, what happens to tickets you've already sold, and how to bring your attendee list with you.

What switching costs you

Nothing. There are no setup, monthly, payout or cancellation fees, and no attendance minimum. You set your ticket price and receive all of it: a flat 5% booking fee is added at checkout and paid by your buyer, with card processing included. Free events cost nothing at all.

See what you'd keep at your own prices in the fee calculator, or the full breakdown on the pricing page.

How to switch, step by step

  1. 1

    Export what you already have

Before you change anything, download your attendee list and sales report from your current platform. It's your data, and it's how you'll tell past attendees about your next event.

  2. 2

    Create your free Tickify account

Sign up at launch.tickify.io and connect Stripe so payouts go straight to your bank. This is the only one-off step; there's no contract and no card needed.

  3. 3

    Set up your next event

Add the date, venue, ticket types and prices, early bird and later releases, promo codes and your guest list. Each event takes under 10 minutes.

  4. 4

Decide what to do with tickets already sold

The simplest switch is to finish any event that's already on sale where it is, and run your next one on Tickify. If you're moving an event mid-sale, close sales on your old platform first, then switch your ticket link.

  5. 5

    Swap your ticket link everywhere

Put your Tickify link in your Instagram bio, website, Facebook event, emails and posters, and send it to your performers, venue and partners so they update theirs too.

  6. 6

    Set up your door

Download the free Tickify Launch app and give your door staff scanner-only access. If some guests bought on your old platform, keep that platform's list or scanner at the door for them.

  7. 7

    Tell your past attendees

Email the people on your exported list who agreed to hear from you, and let them know where your next event is on sale.

  8. 8

    Get paid

Your ticket money is paid to your bank through Stripe after the event, with early payouts on request.

What you get when you move

Keep your full ticket price

You receive every dollar of the price you set. Nothing comes out of your sales, not even card processing.

Releases, promo codes and guest lists

Early bird and tiered releases, promo codes for your performers and partners, and your guest list alongside paid tickets.

A door that can't be copied

QR codes refresh every 60 seconds and each ticket scans once. Your whole door team can scan at once on their own phones.

Your attendee list, always yours

Export names, emails, ticket types and purchase history whenever you like, including after you leave.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to switch to Tickify?

Nothing. Tickify has no setup, monthly, payout or cancellation fees for organisers. A flat 5% booking fee is added at checkout and paid by the buyer, with card processing included, so you keep 100% of your ticket price.

How long does it take to move my events to Tickify?

Creating your account and connecting Stripe for payouts is a one-off step. After that, each event takes under 10 minutes to set up: date, venue, ticket types, prices and releases. You can have your next event on sale the same day.

What happens to tickets I've already sold on another platform?

They stay valid. The simplest approach is to finish an event that's already on sale on your current platform and run your next one on Tickify. If you move an event mid-sale, close sales on your old platform first, switch your ticket link to Tickify, and check in the earlier buyers from your old platform's list at the door.

Can I bring my attendee list with me?

Export your attendee list from your current platform before you switch, so you keep it whatever happens. You can then email the people who agreed to hear from you about your next event on Tickify. On Tickify, every buyer is added to your attendee list, which you can export any time, including after you leave.

Am I locked in to Tickify?

No. Tickify has no contracts, no minimum term and no cancellation fees, and you can move events to or from Tickify at any time. Your attendee list stays yours.

Do I need new equipment for the door?

No. Door staff scan tickets with the free Tickify Launch app on their own iPhone or Android phone. Several people can scan at once, staff can have scanner-only access, and you can find any guest by name. QR codes refresh every 60 seconds, so screenshots and copies don't get in.

How do my buyers get their tickets?

Buyers check out on your Tickify event page and get their ticket in the Tickify app, where they can also send a ticket to a friend. Each transfer gets a fresh QR code.

Can someone help me move my events?

Yes. Book a free 20-minute call and the Tickify team will walk through your next event with you, from ticket types and releases to setting up your door.
