Eventbrite alternatives and competitors
On a $50 ticket, an Eventbrite buyer pays $55.20 once the service and processing fees are added. The main alternatives in the US are Tickify, Universe, TicketSpice, TicketLeap, Humanitix, Posh, Ticket Tailor and Zeffy, and most cost buyers less. Here's what each one charges, who pays, and which suits which events.

One $50 ticket per order, before sales tax. Where the organizer chooses who pays, the figures assume fees are passed to the buyer. Ticket Tailor shows its lowest prepaid-credit rate with Stripe's standard 2.9% + 30¢. Posh's rate comes from its own guides; it doesn't publish a pricing page. Why organizers look beyond Eventbrite
Eventbrite charges two fees on every paid ticket in the US: a 3.7% + $1.79 service fee and a 2.9% payment processing fee on the whole order. On a $10 ticket that adds $2.51, a quarter of the ticket price. Its strengths are reach and scale: a large marketplace where people browse for events, a long track record and wide integrations.
If most of your buyers come from your own audience, social media and promoters rather than Eventbrite's marketplace, a lower fee and more control over your attendee data and resale may matter more. See the full breakdown in Eventbrite fees explained.
