Ticketebo fees, and how Tickify compares
Ticketebo charges a 4% booking fee on each order, including GST, with a minimum of A$1.20 per order, paid by the buyer by default. On a single $75 ticket the buyer pays $78.00. Here's what that means on real orders, and where Tickify differs.
Tickify
Charged per ticket, no minimum. Organiser keeps 100% of face value. Full attendee list export any time.
Ticketebo
Charged on the order value, paid by the buyer by default. No extra card fees. Organisers can choose to absorb it.
Fee comparison
Both platforms add the fee to the buyer by default, so on either one the organiser keeps the full ticket price. The difference is what the buyer pays. Ticketebo charges 4% of the whole order with an A$1.20 minimum. Tickify charges a flat 5% with no minimum.
In plain terms: Ticketebo is cheaper for buyers on any order over about A$24. Tickify is cheaper only on small orders, where Ticketebo's A$1.20 minimum kicks in.
Example: 200 tickets at $75 each, one ticket per order
The organiser nets the same $15,000 on both. Each buyer pays 75c less on Ticketebo. If you choose to absorb Ticketebo's fee instead, you net $72.00 per ticket ($14,400 on this event) and the buyer pays $75.00.
What the buyer pays on different orders
| Order | Tickify (5%) | Ticketebo (4%, A$1.20 min) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 ticket at $20 | $21.00 | $21.20 |
| 1 ticket at $40 | $42.00 | $41.60 |
| 1 ticket at $75 | $78.75 | $78.00 |
| 2 tickets at $75 | $157.50 | $156.00 |
| 4 tickets at $50 | $210.00 | $208.00 |
Both platforms add the fee to the buyer by default, so the organiser receives the full ticket price in every row.
Getting paid
With Ticketebo's default payment method, funds are paid after the event. Ticketebo sends a final sales report on the Monday after the event and pays the net funds the next business day, once you approve the report and submit your bank details. If you need money during the sales campaign, Ticketebo offers a Stripe integration, which needs a Stripe account and adds Stripe transaction fees.
On Tickify, payouts are processed after your event once Stripe clears the transactions. If you need funds before the event, early payouts are available on request.
